The Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimages, set high in the divine lap of the Himalayas. Every year, lakhs of devotees undertake this journey seeking blessings, inner peace, and spiritual purification.

The yatra traditionally follows a clockwise route, starting from the west and moving east:

Yamunotri Temple

  • Dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
  • Located at an altitude of about 3,293 meters.
  • Pilgrims trek from Janki Chatti to reach the temple.
  • The nearby Surya Kund hot spring is considered sacred.

Gangotri Temple

  • Dedicated to Goddess Ganga.
  • Situated at 3,100 meters above sea level.
  • The holy River Ganga originates from Gaumukh Glacier (around 18 km trek from Gangotri).
  • Surrounded by breathtaking snow-clad peaks.

Kedarnath Temple

  • Dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.
  • Located at 3,583 meters.
  • Pilgrims trek 16–18 km from Gaurikund to reach the shrine.
  • The temple stands magnificently against the Kedarnath mountain range.

Badrinath Temple

  • Dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
  • Situated at 3,133 meters along the banks of the Alaknanda River.
  • Part of both the Char Dham (Uttarakhand) and the all-India Char Dham circuit.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Haridwar - Barkot

Morning upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station or at location. Meet with Our Executive and drive to Barkot/Saynachatti. Later proceed to Barkot and transfer to your hotel. Then check-in to the hotel and then take dinner and Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Barkot – Yamunotri Return – Barkot

Morning breakfast drive to Jankichatti and then trek for 07 km to reach Yamunotri. Visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna which is situated on the banks of the river. There is a hot water spring adjacent to this temple. The pilgrims take a holy dip in this spring before Darshan of the temple. You can also cook rice in these hot waters. After Darshan return back to hotel for overnight stay.

Important Places to visit: Yamunotri Temple, Surya kund & Divya Shila .

Day 03 Barkot – Uttarkashi

After morning breakfast check out from the hotel and Drive to Uttarkashi. On Arrival Check in the Hotel and Visit The Famous Vishwanath Temple. After Cover Given Sightseeing Drive Back to Hotel & enjoy the Delicious Dinner .Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Important place to visit: Vishwanath Temple & Shakti Temple Vishwanath

Day 04 Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi

After morning breakfast, we proceed to Harshil. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in Uttarakhand. On the way we can halt at Gang Nani which again has hot water springs. You can take a dip here. Then drive to Gangotri (22 kms/1 hr). Over here devotees take a holy dip in the most Holy River of Hindus- The Ganges. It is also called Bhagirathi from where it originates. You can then perform pooja and enjoy in the picturesque surroundings. In the afternoon return back to Uttarkashi. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 Uttarkashi – Guptkashi/Sersi/Sitapur

After morning breakfast check out from the hotel and Drive to Guptkashi. On Arrival Check in the Hotel and today you Are free for Resort Activity and enjoy the Delicious Dinner early and prepare yourself for Next Day Trek .Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 06 Guptkashi –Sonprayag – Kedarnath

After morning breakfast, we proceed to Sonprayag. After the medical check-up. Then we begin our trek to Kedarnath. Arrive at Kedarnath ji and transfer to hotel. There are 8-10 small private hotels available and they have neat and clean rooms with attached toilet and bath. They also serve hot water buckets. After freshen up proceed for the darshan at Kedarnath ji. After darshan at Kedarnath overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Day 07 Kedarnath - Guptkashi/Sersi/Sitapur

Trace your steps back and return to Son Prayag. Drive back to Guptkashi. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 08 Guptkashi- Badrinath

Early Morning Drive to Badrinath. Check in Hotel. Next Day visit Badrinath Temple Overnight stay. Badrinath one of the 'Four Dham’s ' is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries".

Day 09 Badrinath – Rudraprayag

Early morning after having a bath in the Tapt Kund have the Darshan of Badri Vishal. Bramha kapal is significant for Pind dan Shraddha of ancestors (Petrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maat Moorti, Charan paduka, Bhim Pul and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinath. start Travel From Badrinath to Rudraprayag Stay. Tapt Kund: Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bath before entering the Badrinath temple.

Day 10 Rudraprayag – Haridwar Drop

After morning breakfast check out from the hotel, then proceed towards Haridwar, Railway station to board the train for onward journey here with happy memories to be cherished forever
